Most people consider their teenage years to be the most difficult. As it happens, for some Indian bachelors, puberty comes twice when they've got parents firmly fixated on a traditional arranged marriage. The experience can be most awkward for those incumbents brought up outside the Indian sub-continent, colloquially called NRI's . I am one of those Indian guys, an NRI, a prospective groom gunning through my late twenties. By this time next year, my parents have good reason to believe that I will be married to a girl primarily of their choosing. This blog follows that trail so you can revel in the craziness that we Indians call "culture" and "tradition". Enjoy.
